French Producer Pégase Is Back With His New Track ‘You Come Back’

French producer Pégase is back with a new single “You Come Back“, after six years of absence.

He has surrounded himself with musicians from all over the world for his return, with a Swedish guitarist, an Italian bassist, a South African pianist and a French singer

“You Come Back” is a timeless jazz-funk indie pop track with lyrics in the form of a conversation between two imaginary soul mates, evoking a lost love that will always return.

This sound plunges us into a groovy atmosphere, reminding us that despite this long absence, Pégase has not lost its talent and knows how to renew itself.

Pégase is a French producer and artist who grew up in a family of musicians. In Nantes, he studied writing, improvisation, singing, drumming, classical percussion, and African percussion.

In 2008, he founded his own record company, Futur Records, and his first electronic pop group, Minitel Rose, and performed live in cities including London, Moscow, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Rome, and more.

Just before releasing his debut solo album, which won the Deezer Adami prize in 2014, he performed at the Pitchfork Festival in Paris.

Many artists today recognized have accompanied Pégase on stage (Silly Boy Blue, Voyou, Lenparrot), his song “Be Wild” is played in space aboard the ISS during a mission of Thomas Pesquet in 2017.

He has produced more than 40 albums and EPs over the years for a variety of artists, including Mattyeux, Pongo, Jaia Rose and his solo project “Pégase”.
