Hendrix Harris – Should I | New Music

Half-French, Half-Jamaican rising singer and rapper Hendrix Harris releases his new track “Should I” – the first taste of his debut EP dropping in March.

“Should I” is a overt nod to Hendrix’s love for Cuban culture. Swirling exoticism assumes form with synth and evocative production, His delicate approach to the new single is a noticeable departure from previous singles. This is Hendrix showing off his versatility at it’s finest and it’s welcomed. The crafted mix of cultures and naturally talented vocal performance is sure to generate intrigue.

Hendrix’s appreciation for Cuba runs deep. Travelling back every year to La Habana, he is noted for collaborating with heavyweight Cuban artists like the soul singer Cimafunk and rapper Barbaro el Urbano Vargas to create new flavours.

With his previous release “New Chains” on half a million streams and counting, Hendrix comes through with serious swag and depth – the start of what promises to be a slew of futuristic, wavy soul and trap. Hendrix’s emergence onto the ether is a bold one and the young artist seems destined for big things this year.
