J. Cole Releases Cinematic Visuals For ‘A m a r i’ | Music News

 

J. Cole has been making a lot of buzz in the news recently! His “i n t e r l u d e” track was followed by an inspirational documentary, then his long-awaited studio album The Off-Season, his basketball debut six days after, and today he revealed stunning visuals for his song “a m a r i“.

 

Just like i n t e r l u d e”, “a m a r i” features on his freshly-released album The Off-Season. Directed by Mez for Heirs, the music video for the track shows Cole rocking a number of styles and in diverse locations.

 

The video starts with a stunning view of New York City and a Dreamville-named helicopter in the skyline, which is controlled by Cole, who is spitting his bars on the ground. “Made it out, it gotta mean something“, he raps. The visuals also show the audience Cole’s dorm room filled with platinum records, fire scenes and many more.

 

The video also includes a brief inspirational message at the end:”Hold onto your inner child”. The work itself represents the growth path that J. Cole has made so far and all the blessings on his way.
