John Krasinski, who first caught our attention as Jim Halpert on the widely successful american version of The Office, has in an interview with The Daily Beast, spoken out about the comments Jenna Fischer had made on an episode of Bravo’s ‘Watch What Happens Live’, in which the actress suggested that the pair had been ‘genuinely in love with one another.’
Krasinski however has been quick to clarify Fischer, who played Pam Beesley in the show, saying:
‘I think that was widely misquoted or taken out of context. I’m sure she was trying to say something nice about how genuine the acting relationship was, of bringing a relationship that became popular onscreen – and I think we both feel it’s such an honour to be part of that relationship.’
While the famous will they? won’t they? couple eventually get married and have children in the show, in real life Krasinski is married to the British actress Emily Blunt, while Fischer’s partner is screen writer Lee Kirk.
