American singer-songwriter John Legend has revealed the new music video for his single “Penthouse Floor” featuring Chicago rapper Chance The Rapper. This single is the second one from John Legend’s upcoming album Darkness & Light, which was premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats radio show.
The song “Penthouse Floor” is about how the opulence can overshadow the others’s difficulties. The single and the video goes really well together. In the video Legend plays an employee at a hotel where he meet different types of people/guests. Through mostly of the video Legend walks through different rooms seeing different lives and lifestyles. Though he seems to find something that unite everyone in the hotel, even though the hotel seems very divided.
