So this is what happens when talented actors take the role of a singer and vice versa. Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick appeared on stage at the 2016 Cannes Festival to promote the upcoming film Trolls, in which they are voicing two of the characters. But instead of focusing on the movie, they decided to do something much more fun.

The unlikely musical duo gave a mesmerising performance of Cyndi Lauper’s 1986 song, “True Colors”. Even though you might have guessed that Timberlake would be great in this, you probably didn’t think that Kendrick would have such a lovely voice! And yet, she absolutely does.

A truly magical rendition of the song, it’s one of those cases that make you believe in some artists’ multi-talented nature. Enjoy the amazing cover below. You might also like to see Kendrick dancing in the video of “Can’t Stop The Feeling”, JT’s latest single and soundtrack of Trolls, here.
