LA Based Singer And Songwriter Maty Noyes Releases New Track ‘Idea’

In an industry that tends to box artists into specific genres, Maty Noyes continues to prove that she is not one to be pigeonholed. The multi-genre singer/songwriter has released her third single, “Idea,” as part of her forthcoming project Rainbow Syndrome.

The Mississippi-born, now LA-based, artist is known for her raw storytelling, vibrant love of life, sharp lyricism, and sultry voice, which she uses to take her fans on a deep dive into her personal experiences.

“Idea” is a unique take on a break-up song. It is not a nostalgic look back on a lost love; rather, it’s a celebration of moving on.

As Noyes explains, the song is about “looking back in shock that you were able to deal with certain things from an ex or date them at all. It’s about celebrating that they are out of your life now, a self-reflective moment to look back and see how you’ve grown with what you’re willing to put up with or what you deserve.” It’s clear that Noyes’ music is much more than just sound—it’s catharsis.

Maty Noyes’ love affair with music started at a very young age. By age 12, she had committed her life to her craft, leading her to leave her small hometown of Corinth, Mississippi. Her passion eventually took her to Nashville at the age of 16, where she landed a record deal with Lava Records and swiftly garnered industry attention.

Noyes’ previous collaborations with renowned artists like The Weeknd and Kygo have already introduced her to a global audience. Her 2016 feature on Kygo’s song “Stay” has amassed well over 500 million streams on Spotify alone. As a solo artist, she’s released several projects, including her 2021 debut album, The Feeling’s Mutual, with MITS Records.

For her new project, Rainbow Syndrome, Noyes holds nothing back. Each song is based on a real story and every emotion she puts into the lyrics is genuine.

She emphasizes her creative authenticity and disregard for outside criticism, stating “every song I’ve written for this latest project is based on a real story. It’s all completely authentic to me, without the opinions and criticism of people who don’t even make music for a living.”

Based in Los Angeles, Maty is not only committed to her music but to her broader aspirations as well. Beyond her artistic work, she has a heartfelt mission to help save dogs across America, showcasing the same passionate energy in her activism as she does in her music.

With “Idea,” and the upcoming release of Rainbow Syndrome, Noyes is sharing more than music—she is sharing parts of her journey, her growth, and her heart. Her unique brand of artistry doesn’t just create a song; it crafts an experience that listeners from all walks of life can resonate with.
