Lady Gaga Writes More On Kesha’s Legal Battle | Music News
Lady Gaga has taken Instagram to show further support to the singer Kesha, who was denied an exit from her contract with Sony from the New York Supreme Court.
After the tweet sent earlier this week (February 19), in which she praised Kesha’s bravery, Gaga has raised her voice against those who are skeptical of Kesha’s accusations due to her delay in reporting.
Kesha has filed a lawsuit against producer Dr Luke in October 2014, accusing him of “mental manipulation, emotional abuse and sexual assault,” allegedly started when she was 18 years old, in 2006.
There are people all over the world who love you @KeshaRose. And I can say truly I am in awe of your bravery.

Lady Gaga, a victim of abuse herself, wrote on the social: “The very reason women don’t speak up for years and years is the fear no one will believe them, or their abuser has threatened their life or the life of their loved ones/ livelihood in order to keep their victim quiet/ in control. What happened to Kesha has happened to many female artists including myself and it will affect her for the rest of her life. No one needs to validate Kesha”.
“Why is the victim always the ‘liar'”, she added in the end. “Why do people in a position of power get away with behaving so inhumanely? These guys hide behind the legal system and it’s their litigious behaviour that is precisely what they use to rape these girls. ‘Give me what I want or I will come after you’ and they have all the money and resources to do it”.
