As the anticipation builds for his sophomore album, BRIT 2018 nominee and one of the hidden gems in UK music Loyle Carner has premiered his latest single “You Don’t Know“, coming with a new video to match.
His latest single speaks on feelings of losing faith in love. The new
Louis Bhose-directed video, stars Carner’s mother, Jean, as she goes on a series of dates in one evening with Loyle assuming various different roles at the restaurant, watching over her. Oddly enough, it also features a surprise cameo from renowned British writer and poet Benjamin Zephaniah.
The track follows last year’s “Ottolenghi” video and of course his critically acclaimed album debut album Yesterday’s Gone, serving as a signpost for the possibility of a new project. Carner is also set out on a sold-out UK and Ireland tour this coming April, with a massive London gig at Roundhouse.
