Coming from their debut EP A Dreamer’s Cure, “Flex With The Squad” focuses on Malone’s vocal ability and individuality as a promising rap prospect while doubling as a salute to his crew. It combines Caribbean influences with the pair’s South London upbringing, resulting in a jumpy track which radiates good vibes.
Dockem & Malone as a fiery duo have proved to be one of the most exciting acts to emerge from the UK underground scene this year, garnering tastemaker support and radio attention from DJ Target, Toddla T, Semtex and BBC Introducing.
Being playlisted on Spotify’s Official Rap UK playlist has been a good look for them, helping towards over 100,000 combined streams in this year alone, a debut performance at the #Merky Festival in Ibiza this summer and wholistically the continued trajectory Dockem & Malone are creating for themselves.
