WARNING, this article contains spoilers! It seems that despite his aversion to emotions, Dr. Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) wears his heart on his sleeves when it comes to Amy Farrah Fowler (Mayim Bialik); for after a difficult breakup, the Shamy have finally reunited and admitted their love for one another in the latest episode of The Big Bang Theory – The Earworm Reverberation.
However, it appears that not only Amy is happy about the reunion, as the actress behind the glasses Mayim Bialik has explained in a blog post for Grok Nation that she is ecstatic about the reconciliation. Bialik explained: “I’ve heard from a lot lot lot of people that they didn’t like Amy and Sheldon broken up and you know what? I didn’t like it either!”
She continued, revealing that she prefers filming scenes full of classic Shamy humour instead of icy disagreements: “I love any scenes at all that I have with Jim Parsons, but for sure I can say that I prefer doing scenes where Amy and Sheldon aren’t broken up versus scenes where they are broken up”.
When asked about an upcoming episode where Amy and Sheldon will have sex for the very first time, Bialik depicted that it’ll be a big episode for the sciency couple, but was keen to enforce that their relationship has much more of a deeper meaning than that, “there’s a lot more to our relationship than that. Always has been, always will be”.See a preview of the next episode entitled The Opening Night Excitation below:
