Mississippi Rapper DevMaccc Drops New Single ‘No More’

Following the release of his Still Alone EP in February, Mississippi’s own DevMaccc unveils his new track, “No More“, produced by Rhaney Daze.

In this latest release, Maccc discusses his struggle with self-motivation and piecing his life back together after facing losses, including the passing of his mother.

The production features heavy use of drums and violin, along with some East Asian influences, creating the perfect soft rhythm. The inspiring anthem “No More” by DevMaccc is a product of the song’s powerful lyrics and soothing beat working harmoniously together.

DevMaccc, a Mississippi-born rapper, singer, and songwriter, has developed a unique style that stands out in the Dirty South. Encouraged by his artist mother and influenced by his father and godfathers’ diverse music collection, he cultivated an early love for music.

As he grew up, he developed an appreciation for early southern hip-hop artists like Lil Flip, T.I., and David Banner, among others. Maccc turned to music as an outlet for his grief while his mother battled breast cancer.

In 2016, Maccc decided to re-release his four-track EP Four.Twenty across all platforms in 2018. He made a comeback with the release of his full-length mixtape OFFTOP in 2019, capturing attention in Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York. In 2021, he surprised his fans with the hip-hop and R&B influenced EP Lone Lover.
