I’ll be honest, when I first heard that Megan Fox would be filling in for Zooey Deschanel on New Girl I was a little sceptical, but I have since warmed to the idea. Fox have now released another exclusive clip featuring Fox, which I must say, puts any lingering doubt that I may have had left to rest.
Chatting with EW, New Girl show-runner Liz Meriwether teased Fox’s upcoming story arc on the show. “Most of the characters in the show are very weird and neurotic and not really type-A characters, and so she’s coming in and shaking them up a little bit,” Meriwether told EW. “What’s great is that she’s this really tough-talking, strong, truth-telling character that comes into the loft and kind of calls everybody out. She’s not putting up with any of their crap in a great way”.
The clip, which is from her first episode, really allows Fox to shine and shows her confronting her doctor in a waiting room full of patients. Fox will be portraying a pharmaceutical rep named Reagan, who rents Jess’ room while she is off on jury duty. Watch the clip below, and enjoy her no-nonsense approach!
