New Single ‘Bionicle Memes’ From Tokyo Music Club Is Out Now! | Music News

The hip-hop/rock music group Tokyo Music Club have just released its first single of the year “Bonicle Memes” available on all music platforms!

The Nashville indie quartet formed in the winter of 2019, is composed of singer and guitarist Sip Skylark, guitarist Andy Giallombardo, bassist Kyle Schmitt and drummer Alex Azad.

The band is influenced by artists such as A$AP Rocky and Girl In Red, but they are also influenced by cultures that are not geographically related to Nashville and consider the whole world as their musical culture.

The Tokyo Music Club group, which strives to introduce guitar-based music to new generations, claim that they come from “the internet”, and recognize that the internet has an influence on the way in which music is created and consumed today.

They have decided to release a new single every two weeks in preparation for the release of their debut album entitled Mixtape. They are also busy preparing their show and planning a tour.

The “Bionicle Memes” sound is composed of many instruments such as the drum or the guitar. It is about the euphoric moments of youth and its anxieties. The vocals are written by Sip Skylark and the production, mixing and mastering was done within the band.
