Omar Sy And Louis Leterrier Team Up With Netflix For ‘On The Other Side Of The Tracks’ Sequel | Film News

After the global success of the Lupin series, Netflix is re-teaming with series director Louis Leterrier and lead actor Omar Sy for a sequel to the action-comedy On The Other Side Of The Tracks.

Written by Stéphane Kazandjian, the film will star French actors Omar Sy and Laurent Lafitte, who will reprise their respective roles as Ousmane Diakité and François Monge. This unlikely cop duo will meet again for a new case that will take them to the French Alps.

It will also feature the actor Izïa Higelin, who has already played alongside Sy in the film Samba.

This sequel, for which we don’t know the title yet, is produced by Eric and Nicolas Altmayer, from the company Mandarin et Compagnie. As for production, it started shooting on March 15 in Paris.

At the beginning of this year, Netflix scored a big hit with the release of the series Lupin produced by Louis Leterrier and starring Omar Sy as Arsène Lupin. Indeed, since its launch on January 8, the series has been ranked number one in several countries and was even the first French program to enter the top 10 of American Netflix. The second part of the series is scheduled for this summer.

As for the release of the On The Other Side Of The Tracks sequel film for which we don’t yet know the name, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
