North London-based rapper, poet, actor and all-around-wordsmith Patrin has had a rather victorious year with the release of his highly anticipated mixtape Time Will Tell – a 12 track project which speaks up about encouraging yet important topics such as self-acceptance and self-love, as well as unvoiced issues within his community.
Now the artist returns with a brand new freestyle for BL@CKBOX‘s YouTube channel. Entitling his freestyle “Nothing Hurts More“, Patrin illustrates a story of a girl becoming pregnant and ending up being a single mother due to the father not being mature enough.
“But what’s a queen to a boy/ Babe, ain’t you already got a child?/ Nine months flown by and he left it as that/ Middle finger to any guy that’s gonna do her like that.”
Once again, he proved his stunningly expressive yet rather laid-back rap flow and his effortless wordplay.
