Re-Recorded Taylor Swift Album ‘Fearless’ On Course To Top UK Chart | Music News

Last year, Taylor Swift announced she would be re-recording her first five albums, in a bid to regain control over her early works, after the masters were sold without her consent, and earlier this year, she began teasing the release of the first of those re-recorded albums Fearless.

Earlier this month, the singer released Fearless (Taylor’s version), which contains 27 tracks, including previously unreleased material, and today, the re-recorded album is well on its way to reaching the number 1 spot on the UK official albums chart.

Fearless was originally released in 2008 when the singer was barely 19 years old and this new version is a stunning remake, resembling the original up to the tempo.

After the unstoppable successes of Folklore and Evermore, which she released last year, Taylor Swift looks to continue to occupy the charts and the rankings this year as well. With Fearless (Taylor’s Version), the performer proves her ability to re-invent herself.

This new version of Fearless, entirely supervised by Taylor Swift in person, is the best response the artist could give to the sale of her original masters.

In 2010 Fearless received a Grammy for album of the year and it would prove to be the first in a long series since Taylor Swift is the only female artist in history to have been awarded three times in this category.
