Following their hit 2016 album Run The Jewels 3, the duo made up of Killer Mike and El-P have returned with their new single “Mean Demeanor”. The track will be featured on the new FIFA 18 video game soundtrack and was teased earlier today in a trailer for the EA Sports’ new game, although this edition used the El Tornado mix of the track.
This is not the first time Run The Jewels’ music has ventured into the video game world as their track, “Panther Like A Panther”, off Run The Jewels 3, was featured in a trailer for game Gears of War 4 last fall. It is unclear whether “Mean Demeanor” is a sign of the beginnings of work on the next Run The Jewels’ album or whether the track was made solely for FIFA 18.
The track maintains the bombastic and intense sound Run The Jewels fans have come to love while incorporating references to FIFA 18 making it the perfect single for the game’s release.
