The 2021 awards season continues and this past weekend it was the turn of the Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG Awards) to be held entirely virtually. As we’ve reported before, many of the ceremonies had to go virtual because of the health crisis.
Although the stars stayed in the comfort of their homes, that didn’t stop them from playing the game and putting on their most glamorous outfits for the occasion. Even without the famous red carpet, the stars’ best looks were shared on social media.
Actress Viola Davis, who since the beginning of the award season has stunned us with her stunning gowns, unveiled a customised green column gown by luxury house Louis Vuitton, with a deep V-neckline, adorned with more than 10,000 silver and gold metallic sequins, all of which took 140 hours of work to create.
Kaley Cuoco, who was nominated for her role in The Flight Attendant, wore a neon dress by Prabal Gurung, with matching shocking pink Christian Louboutin heels.
Actress Anya Taylor-Joy who has already won awards this season continues to win more awards, with a new award at the 2021 SAG Awards for her role in The Queen’s Gambit. For the occasion, the actress wore a nude Vera Wang dress with Stuart Weitzman strappy sandals.
Kerry Washington was dressed for the occasion in an embellished Etro dress, paired with a beaded bathing cap with Bulgari jewellery. Or she posed for a photo next to a pool with her back to a brick wall.
Nicole Kidman looked very elegant in a silver Armani haute couture dress with long sleeves. Cate Blanchett opted for a very elegant black suit by Givenchy.
To finish on the most beautiful dresses of the 2021 Actors Guild Awards, Emma Corrin revealed her new blonde hair in a Prada dress with an asymmetrical belt.
