The North Face & RÆBURN Are Creating Compact Eco-Friendly Bags | Fashion News

The North Face have collaborated with British designer Christopher Raeburn to create a new collection of sustainable bags. Introduced via The North Face’s Urban Exploration store on Carnaby Street, the collection puts the spotlight on three baggage silhouettes that feature RÆBURN‘s iconic tagline “REDUCED, REUSED, RECYCLED, RÆBURN”.

The fashion industry has started taking steps to ensure that products are designed, delivered and distributed in ways that champion sustainability. And so The North Face has. They’ve designed three different bags constructed from old recycled tents available in a bright yellow –  a tote bag, a drawstring bag and the Rae bag.

“The North Face has been inspiring a global movement of exploration and conservation for over fifty years, and we couldn’t be prouder to be collaborating on this special project, applying our RÆMADE ethos to transform surplus tents into unique bags” Raeburn said.

They added: “At RÆBURN we’re motivated to work with brands, other designers and individuals to drive positive change in our industry and it’s been fantastic to work alongside the talented team at The North Face to bring this project to fruition.”

The North Face x RÆBURN collection is now on sale in limited quantities. Prices range between £80 to £135, depending on the model chosen, and it is available now via TNF. You can also find information on which physical stores are stocking the collection via their site.  Check out below a sneak peek of the collection.
