Island Records have announced a competition for fans of The Weeknd to win tickets to a gig they will play “a short drive from London”. Keen listeners can sign up by 9am on July 6 here for a chance to see the show. On the website we are told that they “will be providing lucky ballot winners with transport to and from the gig, from a central London location“. Fresh from a night of success at the Much Music Video Awards after taking home ‘Video of the Year’ and ‘Best Pop Video’ awards, The Weeknd is currently preparing for the release of upcoming album Chapter III.
