“Every Other Freckle” is a new track off of alt-J’s upcoming album This Is All Yours to be released on Monday, September 22nd. This indie rock band continues to push the boundaries, offering a ton of depth and variety in this one song. The arrangement includes an electronic vibe, flute melody, folk handclaps, and soulful vocals. Although the influences of the song are wide, alt-J manages to create a sensual, static filled number worth listening to. They also recently released two videos (which can be seen below) of the song, one featuring a man and another a woman, both directed by Oliver Groulx. I can’t wait to hear what the rest of the album has to offer. This track is available to buy on iTunes, and to stream to on Spotify.
