Big K.R.I.T. has been quite quiet since his It’s Better This Way mixtape came out in October of 2015, releasing only a handful of songs since then. He now comes back with a remix of Kanye West’s “30 Hours”, from talk of the moment album, The Life Of Pablo.
“$30” opens with a monologue and a spaced out, brooding backdrop. The lyrics are from the heart, and it all combines for quite a serious and intense track. It talks, in lyrical content, generally of what positive money brings out of people, like displays of loyalty through paying someone back for the faith and kindness they have shown to you.
