Gonno and Nick Höppner have shared the news today that they will be releasing their EP, Fantastic Planet, through in-house label, Ostgut Ton, on Friday, July 8.
This will be the first collaboration between the Japanese and German producers, who have come to dominate their nation’s techno/house communities. Describing the experience on his Facebook, Höppner writes that it felt natural working with the International Feel Recording’s artist, who was invited back to the personal studio of Ostgut’s own Höppner after he rolled into town for a gig in Autumn last year.
The label generously uploaded snippets of the three tracks to their Soundcloud and, while only a minute and a half long each, we’re sure the earthy basslines alone will have you shuffling.
