Skepta – Man | New Music

After announcing the release date of his upcoming album Konnichiwa, British Nigerian Grime veteran Skepta has released a new track titled “Man”.

“Man” is Skepta at his best, spitting bars with his trademark flow with clever, humorous wordplay. One of the standout lines is, “I don’t know why man’s calling me family all of a sudden, like hmm…my mum don’t know your mum“. The beat samples Queen of The Stone Age’s track “Regular John”, creating a grimy atmosphere, with a splash of menace.

Konnichiwa is due for release May 6. Check out “Man” and the track list below:

I love Music, I love writing and I’m a weirdo.
My favourite genres are Rap, R&B, Pop & some Metal for good measure, (Hail Satan and all that). Unfortunately for you, I’m not Batman, nor am I Spiderman, I’m just a human being who’s trying to follow his passion for Music, hoping to achieve some level of success. I enjoy Film, watching TV series (the gruesome kind, such as Hannibal, may it R.I.P.) and I enjoy Art; creating and admiring. All in all, you’ve heard it all before, so I’ll let my writing do the talking!

Have your say....
