Perth, Western Australia duo (Tobes and Macka), Sun City, have put forward a track, entitled “Wake Up”. You can find the track available now on iTunes. This comes as the second single from their forthcoming Daytona EP, which will see release in January of next year.
“Wake Up” rings in and out, deep with clapping, driving drum. It is impassioned, a perfect mix of summery sun anthem feel and drama. A refrain lets the vocals reverberate ethereal, with minimal backdrop stripped back. Gradually the other elements creep in, and when the ensemble forms as one it almost serves as crescendo.
