As printed in Kerrang!, As Lions‘ title song from their new EP is – “conceptually” – “about trying to navigate your way out of disaster, be it personal, collective, or in the case of the video, a war zone”.
The video for “Aftermath” features a search team walking through rubble trying to find any survivors following a war. As they’re shining their torches, a small hand sticks up and allows them to save a vulnerable-looking child.
At the moment, As Lions (fronted by Austin Dickenson – Bruce Dickenson‘s son) are preparing to embark on a US tour alongside Five Finger Death Punch, Shinedown (who I think As Lions have taken some inspiration from, sound-wise), and Sixx:A.M. The tour begins on October 18 at the Verizon Arena in Arizona.
