Billie Eilish and Rosalía have released their new song together titled “Lo Vas a Olvidar (You Will Forget Her)”, ahead of a new installment of Euphoria that will focus on Hunter Schafer’s character Jules.
“You guys have been waiting for this”, Eilish wrote two days ago on an Instagram post which includes a very brief teaser for the track.
Here we are! Nearly two years after teasing this much-anticipated collaboration back in 2019, it appears that this collaboration has finally seen the light of day.
Indeed The collaboration has been on the cards since March 2019 when Rosalía tweeted “can’t wait to finish our song” along with a photo of her with Eilish, with Eilish also talking to Annie Mac about Rosalía that “she knows what she wants, it’s very refreshing….I was like, ‘wow, you’re the only person I’ve met who’s really like this'”.
In April, Rosalía told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe in an interview “I have been trying to finish the Billie Eilish collab. I think it’s getting quite close”. Recently, Billie Eilish also announced a forthcoming photo book spanning her life and career after releasing her latest single “Therefore I Am” in November.
