Cher Reveals Plans To Record New Music With Mark Taylor | Music News

Cher has recently revealed plans for her to record some new music, possibly later this year. If a new album is in the making, it will be Cher’s 26th studio album. Cher spoke to Billboard about new music, “Mark [Taylor] has a song and I loved it, and I was supposed to go to England to do it. But then I wanted to go on vacation, and so I went on vacation instead. So I’m going to be in England to do something in October, so I’ll go early and work with Mark“.

Cher has worked with Taylor in the past, he produced her 1998 song “Believe” and he contributed a few tracks on her latest album Closer To The Truth. She is also hoping that her ‘Dressed to Kill’ world tour will be rescheduled after recovering from an acute viral infection that affected her kidneys.

Cher said about the tour, “I’ve got everything. Nothing went anywhere… I will keep ‘Dressed to Kill’ and ‘Welcome to Burlesque’ [in the set list], because those are my two favourite songs to do, actually. We’ll probably get rid of ‘Take It Like a Man’ [from ‘Closer to the Truth’] and we’ll put in some more hits, probably. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to do this. That’s my wish. But I can’t say that I actually will be able to… My will is pretty strong, so… I don’t know“.
