Last Sunday, on June 10, Demi Lovato was awaited at the O2 Arena in London for one of the six UK stages on the European leg of her worldwide tour.

The tour supporting her latest project, Tell Me You Love Me, started in February in San Diego, and will end in Fortaleza, Brazil on November 27. 10 months around the planet to spread and share her best hits with special guests DJ Khaled, Kehlani, Iggy Azalea and Becky G.

Unfortunately, her British fans must wait a little bit more for the show, until Monday, June 25: this is the official rescheduled date, accessible with the June 10 tickets, that was suddenly cancelled.

Through a simple Instagram Story, without makeup but with a very sore voice, Demi announced she was really sorry but due to throat problems (swollen vocal cords) she was obliged to stop for a while.

The 25 years old ex-Disney star is already a Grammy nominated, multi-platinum singer and songwriter; during the European part of her tour she is set to perform in 16 different cities and concerts are already sold out. This was the first time she had to modify her tour for sickness.

Lovato seems to take much more care of her health now, especially after having just confessed – and celebrated – on her social profiles 6 years of sobriety. In March 2018, she was happy to share this achievement with fans. Demi went to rehab back in 2010 to seek treatment for a dependence to alcohol and drugs, but suffered also from self-harming and eating disorders.

Hopefully, she will have a fast recovery and come back on stage soon!
