If you know anything about the history of Jay Z and The Diplomat Crew this news will be just as shocking to you as it was to me. Jim Jones has signed a deal with Roc-a-fella Records. The nature of this contract is unknown but it is shocking that after years of diss tracks and personal disputes that their feud resulted in a deal being made.

Vic Medina, from Roc Nation posted a photo on Instagram on Tuesday of Jim Jones signing some paperwork and he captioned it “It’s a done deal… Jim Jones/Roc Nation”. Recent signees to the label are also artists Yo Gotti, The Lox and Fat Joe.

I will not lie I am happy because I have not heard music from Jim Jones in a while. I was definitely a fan growing up, so if this is a music deal, I look forward to what the next chapter in his musical career will look and sound like.
