Kali Uchis Unveils Self-Directed Music Video For ‘Telepatia’ | Music News

 

Latin American pop star Kali Uchis has released the new music video for her hit single “Telepatia”. The self-directed music video was filmed in her hometown in Pereira, Colombia, and sees her celebrating her origins and love for her country. The tune currently has over 131 million global streams, is #1 on Apple Music’s top latin songs, #2 on the Apple Music Global chart and #2 on Spotify global viral chart.

 

The single is taken from her second studio album Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios), which birthed her other popular tracks are “Aqui Yo Mando” with Rico Nasty featuring PARTYNEXTDOOR and Jowel & Randy, “La Luz” with Jhay Cortez.

 

Kali Uchis is nominated for her first Latin American Music Award for ‘Best Pop Album’ this year, being the only woman nominated in the category. The ceremony takes place on April 15 at the BB&T Center in Florida and will be broadcast on Telemundo.

 

Speaking about the track, Kali Uchis states, “The song happened so naturally and I wanted the video to reflect that. Nothing over produced, just the beautiful natural magic of the country I have had the honor of also calling home my entire life, Colombia. Enjoy
