LA Band The Gutter Daisies Return With ‘American Pie’ | Music News

After the release of their single “Celebrity Suicide” earlier this year, LA-based band The Gutter Daisies are back with their new single “American Pie” on March 20!

The Gutter Daisies is a rock band of 3 musicians from Los Angeles. It is made up of award-winning author and composer Doug Rockwell, bassist Miles Franco, and drummer Mike Diggs. They are known for their very energetic live performances. They draw their influences from groups such as The Hives, The Vines, Nirvana, Green Day, Refused and Weezer.

They released their EP of 4 tracks Social Insecurity in 2017, composed of the tracks “La La La, Blah Blah Blah”, “Drugs”, “Paper Paranoia” and “Let Me Out”. In 2018 they have released their sound “Sabotage”. Their single “Celebrity Suicide” which was out earlier in the year was a great success.

The group had planned several shows, but due to the Coronavirus they were canceled. They will be rescheduled for later. In these complicated times, the group decided to stay active and to move towards other digital platforms like TikTok and IGTV to offer diversifying and engaging content.

The music “American Pie” speaks of depression, anxiety, social networks, armed violence in schools and the lack of mutual aid between everyone.
