London Singer BIM Unveils New Single ‘I Still Remember’

Introducing London-based singer and songwriter BIM with her gospel/soul tinged new single “I Still Remember”.

Her rich, emotional, and energetic voice finds its natural place in the multi-layered soul she chooses to create as a London girl with gospel origins. “I Still Remember” is a deep take on the emotional whirlwind that reflects the communal experience of being black in the United Kingdom.

Speaking about the single, BIM explains, “It was written in the summer of 2020 when it seemed that so many, for the first time, were seeing the reality of our daily lives for what can be. There seemed to be an awakening taking place but this song articulates my frustration with the idea that this is a ‘new’ occurrence. It’s not. Calling out what has been wrong for so long is very overdue and this is my way of asking where were you? and why did you take so long?

The tune, which features BIM’s signature bass tones, moves through a sophisticated atmosphere of slow, layered beats and beautiful melodies, allowing her angelic harmonies to cushion her every syllable.

Her talent as a musician continues to propel her further on the path to success. And with each new release, her star continues to rise. Ones To Watch, Wordplay Magazine, Reprezent Radio, Kiss FM, Kiss Fresh, BBC Radio Wales, and others have all consistently lent their support.

BIM’s discography thus far demonstrates the breadth of her songwriting abilities, reminding us that she is a true gem to keep an eye on as one of the scene’s most exciting newcomers.
