Take That To Potentially Reunite As A 5-Piece For 25th Anniversary | Music News

2017 will mark the 25th anniversary of one of Britain’s much-loved pop groups, Take That – who released their debut album Take That & Party way back in 1992. This news makes me feel very old indeed, as I bought a dodgy copy of that very album on cassette from a man with a suitcase in my town centre, only to find that the last track on each side cut off before it ended.

Gary Barlow is keen to reunite the group, perhaps not for a full-on tour, but certainly for some special shows – and Robbie Williams is up for it, but only on the condition that ALL members take part. Yes, we’re looking at you, Jason Orange!

In the meantime, you can watch Take That – the 3 piece – headline Barclaycard’s British Summertime at London’s Hyde Park, on Saturday, July 9, 2016. Also on the bill are Olly Murs, Ella Eyre, Jamie Lawson, Nathan Sykes, and more acts to be announced. Premium tickets are already sold out, but general admission tickets are still available, priced £65 plus booking fees. To purchase tickets or for more info, please check out the BST website.
