Top Dawg Entertainment (aka TDE) is an independent American record label, founded in 2004 by CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith. They’re partly responsible for the support and success of Kendrick Lamar and Schoolboy Q. Their current roster is Jay Rock, Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, SZA, Isaiah Rashad and Lance Skiiiwalker, who is their most recently announced signing.
Yesterday, TDE CEO engaged with the fans, doing a Q&A on Twitter where he answered questions about the upcoming roster’s releases. He revealed that Schoolboy Q’s new album will drop before Summer and that Rashad’s debut album is currently being mixed. Finally, he cryptically stated the SZA’s album would be ‘coming soon’.
It looks like we have a lot to look forward to.
