Years & Years – All For You | New Music

Years & Years are gearing up for the release of their upcoming album Palo Santo, available to stream on Friday, July 6, and the band has just dropped a new bouncy song.

Olly Alexander, the frontman of the British dance-pop band, unveiled the new single “All For You” during a guest appearance on Apple’s Music Beats 1 Radio, where he also discussed the name of the album and all the symbolism behind the project.

Following to their debut album Communion, Palo Santo seems like a natural continuation of what the band has already offered. Taking up the iconoclastic theme and church references, Olly confirmed on the show his intention to further explore spirituality in Palo Santo.

Talking with the host, Olly introduced the track, that is a follow up to the band’s first release “Sanctity“, as one that will get you “deep into the dance floor and [that] release your inner demons”. The song, that I can already foresee will be overly played all summer long, is a great club jam to shake your hips to and it comes in handy to celebrate Pride Month.

For those who are not familiar with Years & Years, the band has long been a supportive act for the LGBT+ community, especially since singer Olly Alexander has always been open with his own sexuality. A great advocate for gay rights, the singer has promoted safer sex and HIV screening as well as been very open regarding his mental issues.
