Larry Mullen Condemns Current State Of Music Industry | Music News
Speaking with RTE 2FM, an Irish radio station, Mullen said: “I think it is broken.” This was said after growing concerns over streaming policies from Spotify, Apple Music and the like. Musicians, as big as Taylor Swift, have asked for their music to be removed from such websites due to payment problems or the lack of it. Mullen continued: “A lot of younger artists don’t get paid and that’s a real problem”. U2 have finished the UK leg of their tour and are now heading towards Paris next, before wrapping up in Dublin and Belfast.
