Wiz Khalifa Confirms Duo Project ‘2009’ With Curren$y | Music News

 

Wiz Khalifa fans have a lot to look forward to in the next year. The hip-hop rap artist will be blessing his followers with some major projects in 2019.

 

On the weekend, during an interview with Power 106, Khalifa has officially confirmed that in 2019, he and American rapper Curren$y will be dropping a duo project titled 2009.

 

Back in 2009, the two rappers had joined forces and produced the mixtape How Fly Back when their careers were just taking off. At the time, “Black & Yellow” had not even been made yet.

 

Now, the two big artists are officially set to return with another collaborative album 2009 which will serve as a follow-up to their 2009 duo project.

 

Khalifa has also told Power 106 that there will be a joint tour which will follow the forthcoming project. Additionally, the rap artist will release a deluxe edition of his previous album which will be titled Rolling Papers 2. The project will feature 7 new singles.
