Hudsun Has Just Released His New Single ‘Shutdown’ | Music News

After the success of “Retrograde”, author, composer and indie rock/electro performer Hudsun, real name Sam Hudsun, is back with his latest single, “Shutdown”, which was released earlier this month.

This artist living in Manchester has been writing and recording music since he was 17 years old. His early music was more punk, funk and rock. Later he formed the music band Sly Antics, in which he was the lead singer. With this band he changed his musical style and moved more towards rock and soul. They played on UK festivals including Kendal Calling and The Great Escape

According to BBC Radio 1, Hudsun is “One to watch” and according to Radio X, he is “A brilliant new artist”.  When Hudsun was created, Sam kept his rock style but added a bit of electro. He has been compared to bands like Twenty One Pilots, Imagine Dragons and AwolNation. The rock song “Shutdown” has already been played thousands of times on streaming platforms.

The song is about people who are unable to express their emotions and close in on themselves. The song also talks about the frustration that this can cause in those around them. In March the video of this sound will be released. This video will edit a performance by ballet dancer Alison Eager.
