A bit of a strange one for you here, but a strangeness that breeds a happy, somewhat childish dance tune. Sounding like the infant child of rave, “Teen Idols” is the creation of Sydney based Michael Di Francesco’s project Touch Sensitive. The crowd bouncing new track will feature on a compilation album from Australian record label Future Classic which I am looking forward to a lot. Future Classic has had another very strong year, a leading and influential figure on many music fronts, especially with noise coming from Australia.
“Teen Idols”, with its manipulation and looping of a acapella sound is joy to listen to and has the ability to get you moving to the beat during whatever you might be doing. Touch Sensitive’s sound will be one of a diverse number of great sounds to feature on Future Classics 2014 compilation available on December 19. You can pre order the LP here but In the meantime listen to Teen Idols below.
